I’m mostly doing this blog for me – as a way of disciplining myself to THINK and ReTHINK through things. But if it profits your heart, mind, or soul then even better. One of my favorite verses would be my prayer for you:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)

Shay, my mom told me about your blog challenge thing going on with pondering the passages of Scripture from what you wrote based on Proverbs 2. When she was describing it, I knew exactly what she was talking about — I remember you teaching the Youth about Prov. 2 and those key words when I was in Youth!! 🙂 And I have kept your “104 (I think) Powerful Passages to Ponder” page you gave us and I still use it today. Just wanted you to know that it has greatly impacted my life and ministry! Thank you!

Shay, I would like permission to use some of your points in “Ode to a Great Pastor” to write one for our founding pastor. I would re-phrase some of the text so I would not be using it “verbatim”. I can send you a proof before I print it. I especially like your main points. I have been a pastor for over 13 years and appreciate the way you honored your pastor and called him friend!
